Section 1-14-123 - Judgment Against Surety for Costs; Execution

1-14-123. Judgment against surety for costs; execution. After final judgment in an action in which security for costs is given, the court may on motion of the defendant or a person having a right to costs, after ten (10) days notice of the motion, render judgment in the name of the movant against the surety, his executors or administrators, for the costs adjudged against the plaintiff. Execution may be issued on the judgment as in other cases for the use and benefit of the person entitled to the costs.
