Section 1-4-102 - Abatement of Actions by Death

1-4-102. Abatement of actions by death. No action or proceeding pending in any court abates by the death of either or both of the parties thereto except as herein provided; an action for libel, slander, malicious prosecution, assault, assault and battery or nuisance shall abate by the death of either party.
