11-25-208. Penalties. (a) Any person holding or conducting any pari-mutuel event in connection with the pari-mutuel system of wagering without a permit issued in accordance with this act, or any person who violates any other provision of this act is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), imprisoned for not more than six (6) months, or both. (b) The attorney general may, at the request of the commission, act on behalf of the commission to prosecute criminal actions under this chapter or title 6, chapter 7, article 1 of the Wyoming statutes if after a thorough investigation the action is deemed advisable by the attorney general.
