14-6-405. Taking of child into custody; when permitted. (a) A child may be taken into custody by a law enforcement officer without a warrant or court order when: (i) The circumstances would permit an arrest without a warrant under W.S. 7-2-102; (ii) There are reasonable grounds to believe the child has violated the terms of an order of the juvenile court issued pursuant to this act; (iii) There are reasonable grounds to believe a child is abandoned, lost, suffering from illness or injury or seriously endangered by his surroundings and immediate custody appears to be necessary for his protection; (iv) The child's conduct or behavior seriously endangers himself and immediate custody appears necessary; or (v) There are reasonable grounds to believe the child has run away from his parents, guardian or custodian.
