Section 15-5-118 - Duties of Commission; Employee Certification

15-5-118. Duties of commission; employee certification. The commission shall certify to the city clerk the names of employees in the service, stating in each case the character and date of commencement of service and any change in service. The governing body shall not allow a bill for service, nor shall the city clerk issue a warrant for the payment of any compensation to any person not so certified.
