17-23-103. Purpose. Statutory trusts may be organized under this chapter for any lawful purpose, except acting as an insurer as defined in W.S. 26-1-102(a)(xvi), or acting as a financial institution as defined by W.S. 13-1-101(a)(ix) or its successor statute, whether or not conducted for profit, or for any of the purposes referred to in W.S. 17-23-102(a)(v)(A) including, without limitation, for the purpose of holding or otherwise taking title to property, whether in an active or custodial capacity.
