18-4-107. County officer discounting warrant; penalty. Any treasurer, clerk, sheriff, or member of the board of commissioners of a county, who shall purchase or receive any warrant or demand against such county for less than the face value of such demand, shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
