Section 18-4-407 - Tax Levy for Purpose of Redemption; Restriction Upon Use of Monies Collected

18-4-407. Tax levy for purpose of redemption; restriction upon use of monies collected. The board of county commissioners shall annually levy upon all taxable property in the county in addition to other authorized taxes a tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on the bonds as they become due which shall be levied and collected in the same manner as other taxes in the county. The taxes collected shall be known as the viaduct or subway tax and shall only be used for the payment of interest and principal of the bonds.
