19-9-212. Governor's authority to order service under Title 32 of the United States Code. The governor may order any member of the national guard of Wyoming to duty under Title 32 of the United States Code, to respond to either natural or man made emergencies within Wyoming, to support national wildland fire response or to respond to requests originated in accordance with W.S. 19-9-209. This section is meant to clarify the governor's authority under Title 32 and is not intended to limit the governor's inherent authority as the commander in chief of the national guard.
