Section 2-4-209 - Letters Granted to Any Applicant if Not Contested

2-4-209. Letters granted to any applicant if not contested. Letters of administration shall be granted to any applicant, though it appears there are other persons having better rights to the administration, when those persons fail to appear either in person or by agent or attorney and claim the issuing of letters themselves.
