2-7-615. Petition to sell; notice and hearing; exception; court order. Upon filing of the petition, the court shall fix the time and place of hearing of the petition, and the personal representative shall give notice of the hearing as provided in W.S. 2-7-205, but as to personal property and as to the lease of real property not specifically devised for a period of not to exceed one (1) year, the court may hear the petition without notice. In those instances where notice is required, the notice shall state briefly the nature of the petition. At the hearing and upon satisfactory proof the court may order the sale, mortgage, exchange, pledge or lease of the property described or any part thereof at such price and upon such terms and conditions as the court may authorize.
