Section 20-2-316 - Adjustment of Child Support for a Disabled Adult Child

20-2-316. Adjustment of child support for a disabled adult child. (a) A noncustodial parent may petition for an adjustment of child support for a child who has reached the age of majority but qualifies under W.S. 14-2-204(a)(i) to continue to receive support from the noncustodial parent. The court shall allow the adjustment in cases where the noncustodial parent proves by a preponderance of the evidence that an adjustment of the child support order is in the best interest of the child who has reached the age of majority. (b) A noncustodial parent petitioning the court for an adjustment under this section shall adhere to the requirements of W.S. 20-2-311.
