20-6-107. Payment of support money collected to department. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section the obligor shall make all support payments to the department upon receipt of written notice that the children for whom the support obligation exists are receiving public assistance. (b) If an obligor is ordered by the court to make payments to the clerk of court, the clerk shall forward all payments received from the obligor to the department.
