21-13-716. Penalty for misappropriation of funds by trustees. If any member of the school district board of trustees fraudulently fails or refuses to pay into the proper county treasury the money arising from the sale of any bonds provided for by this article, he shall be deemed guilty of a felony; and upon conviction thereof, be punished by imprisonment in the state penitentiary for a term of not less than one (1) year, nor more than ten (10) years.
