24-1-111. County road districts. All counties shall be divided into road districts. The board of county commissioners of each county shall divide their county into road districts of as compact form and convenient size as is practicable, and embracing the territory within an election district, if possible, and may change or alter said road district from time to time as the public convenience may require.
