25-10-119. Mechanical restraints; uses and reasons therefor recorded. Mechanical restraints shall not be applied to any patient, unless the head of the hospital determines that the medical needs of the patient require them. The head of the hospital shall record every use of a mechanical restraint and the reasons for its use in the clinical record of the patient and sign the record.
