Section 27-3-609 - Legal Representation in Civil and Criminal Actions

27-3-609. Legal representation in civil and criminal actions. (a) In any civil action to enforce this act, the department may be represented by a qualified attorney employed by the department or by the attorney general at the request of the department. (b) All criminal actions for violation of this act or any rules or regulations issued pursuant to this act shall be prosecuted by the attorney general or at his request and under his direction, by the district attorney for the county in which the prosecution is brought.
