30-4-105. Membership. (a) Subject to W.S. 30-4-106, the state of Wyoming hereby joins the Interstate Mining Compact commission to further the findings and purposes embodied in the compact. The state through the office of the governor is authorized to join and participate in the Interstate Mining Compact commission as a member state of the commission. (b) The governor may appoint a designee to serve as the governor's official representative to the compact and to perform all functions in connection with the business of the compact. If the governor appoints a person to act as his designee, that person shall take the oath of office prescribed by the constitution and shall file it with the secretary of state.
