Section 31-5-117 - Dropping or Throwing Material on Highway; Removal of Injurious Material

31-5-117. Dropping or throwing material on highway; removal of injurious material. (a) Except in the process of highway construction or repair, any person who drops, or permits to be dropped or thrown, upon a highway any material shall immediately remove the material or cause it to be removed. (b) Any person removing a wrecked or damaged vehicle from a highway shall remove any glass or other substance dropped upon the highway from the vehicle.
