Section 31-5-1102 - Duty to Stop Vehicle Where Accident Involves Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property; Penalty

31-5-1102. Duty to stop vehicle where accident involves damage to attended vehicle or property; penalty. The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting only in damage to a vehicle or other property which is driven or attended by any person shall immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the accident or as close thereto as possible, but shall forthwith return to and remain at the scene of the accident until he has fulfilled the requirements of W.S. 31-5-1103. Every stop shall be made without obstructing traffic more than is necessary. Any person failing to stop or comply with this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
