Section 31-5-931 - Backup and Side Marker Lamps

31-5-931. Backup and side marker lamps. (a) Any motor vehicle may be equipped with not more than two (2) backup lamps either separately or in combination with other lamps, but any such backup lamp shall not be lighted when the motor vehicle is in forward motion. (b) Any vehicle may be equipped with one (1) or more side marker lamps and any side marker lamp may be flashed in conjunction with turn or vehicular hazard warning signals. (c) Lamps allowed by this section shall comply with the regulations of the superintendent.
