Section 33-16-514 - Criminal Penalty for Violation

33-16-514. Criminal penalty for violation. Unless otherwise provided for in this act for specific violations, any person violating this act is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, or both. A second or subsequent conviction for violation of this act during a thirty-six (36) month period shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than one (1) year, a fine of not more than two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), or both. Each violation shall constitute a separate offense.
