33-16-534. Inspection of crematories and facilities for chemical disposition; rules and regulations. The board shall promulgate reasonable rules and regulations governing the cremation and chemical disposition of human remains. The rules shall provide minimum standards of sanitation, required equipment and fire and environmental protection which the board deems necessary for the protection of the public. The board shall inspect all crematoriums and other appropriately permitted entities conducting chemical disposition at least once each year.
