33-21-139. Nursing education programs; approval by board; procedure. An institution or program desiring to initiate a nursing education program in this state shall apply to the board and submit evidence that its nursing program is able to meet the standards established by the board. If upon investigation the board finds that the program meets the established standards for nursing education programs, it may grant approval to the applicant program.
