Section 33-24-143 - Prosecutions

33-24-143. Prosecutions. It shall be the duty of the district attorney for the county where the violation occurs to attend to the prosecution of all criminal complaints made under this act, both upon the trial in the circuit court where the complaint may be made, and also upon hearings in the district court, either upon such complaint, or upon the information or indictment filed against any person under this act. Nothing in this act shall be construed to prevent the prosecution of any person for violation of this act upon the information of the district attorney directly.
