33-25-107. License; certificate of registration. (a) The board shall issue a license or certificate to each applicant who meets the requirements for licensure or certification without examination or who passes the examination and meets the standards established herein for licensure or certification. (b) Each individual licensed as a physical therapist in this state is authorized to use the letters 'P.T.' after his name, and may represent himself to the public as a licensed physical therapist. (c) Each individual certified as a physical therapist assistant shall be entitled to use the letters 'P.T.A.' after his name, and may represent himself to the public as a certified physical therapist assistant.
