Section 33-26-511 - Penalties

33-26-511. Penalties. Any person practicing as a physician assistant or representing that he is a physician assistant without a license or any person employing an unlicensed person to practice as a physician assistant is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than one (1) year, or both. Each violation constitutes a separate offense for which the penalty in this section may be assessed.
