33-5-104. Applications for admission to bar; generally. All applications for admission to the bar of this state shall be made by petition to the supreme court. The same shall be referred to the state board of law examiners, who shall examine the applicant vouching his qualification for admission to the bar. The said board shall report its proceedings in the examination of applicants to the supreme court with their recommendation in the premises. If the court shall then find the applicant to be qualified to discharge the duties of an attorney and to be of good moral character, and worthy to be admitted, an order shall be entered admitting him to practice in all the courts of this state.
