34-29-208. False or fraudulent representations or declarations; liability for damages sustained. Any person who for himself, or on behalf of any other person, files or registers any digital asset in the office of the secretary under the provisions of this article by knowingly making any false or fraudulent representation or declaration, orally or in writing, or by any other means, shall be liable to pay all damages sustained in consequence of the filing or registration, to be recovered by or on behalf of the injured party in any court of competent jurisdiction.
