36-4-118. Compensation prohibited; per diem and travel expenses permitted. The members of the commission and the advisory board shall not receive any compensation for their services, but when actually engaged in the performance of their duties, they shall be paid a per diem for each day of such actual service and be reimbursed for their travel expenses at the same rate applicable to travel expenses of other state officers.
