37-2-111. Attorney general to be legal adviser; duties; representation by commission attorneys. The attorney general shall be the legal adviser of the commission and it shall be his duty to represent the commission in all proceedings in any court, before any other agency or before any departments of the federal government. Upon the request of the commission, the attorney general may designate any duly qualified attorney employed by the commission to function as an assistant attorney general to assist the attorney general in representing the commission in all proceedings in any court, before any agency or before any departments of the federal government. Wherever he deems it appropriate, the attorney general may authorize a commission attorney to act without his assistance.
