37-9-406. Sale of tickets; penalty for violating W.S. 37-9-405. Any person or persons violating the provisions of the preceding section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be liable to be punished by a fine of not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) and by imprisonment not exceeding one (1) year, or either or both, in the discretion of the court in which such person or persons shall be convicted.
