Section 40-23-121 - Civil Penalties

40-23-121. Civil penalties. The commissioner may impose a civil penalty upon a person who violates this act or a rule adopted or an order issued under this act in an amount not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) per day for each day the violation is outstanding, plus the state's costs and expenses for the investigation and prosecution of the matter, including reasonable attorney's fees. Any penalties collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited in the public school fund of the appropriate county as required by article 7, section 5 of the Wyoming constitution.
