41-9-119. District commissioners; new appointments. Appointments to fill expired terms in the office of drainage commissioner shall be made by the presiding judge of the district court of the county having jurisdiction of the drainage district at the courthouse therein on the first Tuesday of July in each succeeding year or as soon thereafter as possible.
