Section 41-9-251 - Objections; Statement of Owner; Default; Decrees; Appeal; Adjournment of Hearing; Trial

41-9-251. Objections; statement of owner; default; decrees; appeal; adjournment of hearing; trial. On the return day of said notice, or order to show cause, the said owner shall in writing, verified on oath, state the facts on which his claim is based. If he fails to appear and set forth such facts, upon the filing of the proof of service of such notice, or order to show cause upon him when notice is necessary, an order shall be made by the court confirming such assessment or assessments, which order shall be final and conclusive unless appealed from to the supreme court within thirty (30) days. The court may adjourn the hearing on said return day and thereafter, and if on the return day, or adjourned day, a trial is found necessary, the court shall fix the time and place of trial, and frame all necessary issues as provided in W.S. 41-9-104.
