5-3-503. Appointment after approval by district judge; determination of maximum salary. Counselors may be appointed by the county commissioners only after the applicant is interviewed and approved by the district judge or judges in the district in which he is to be employed. The maximum salary of counselors appointed under the provisions of this act, shall be determined by the county commissioners.
