5-9-136. Request for jury in civil actions; fee; right to jury in criminal actions. In civil actions in a circuit court, a jury shall be considered waived unless demand is made by either party as provided by the Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure and a jury fee in the amount provided by the Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure is paid to the clerk of the circuit court and thereafter is deposited and dispersed as provided by the Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure. In criminal proceedings in a circuit court the accused shall have the right to a trial by jury unless such right is waived as provided by the Wyoming Rules of Criminal Procedure.
