6-3-610. Mislabeling merchandise; penalty. A person commits a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) if, with intent to promote the purchase or sale of a commodity, he knowingly brands, labels, stamps or marks the commodity in a false, misleading or deceptive manner.
