9-1-612. Duties of director; deputy directors; appointment; duties; capitol security; security personnel requirements and powers. (a) The director shall supervise and direct all activities of the division. Subject to the written approval of the attorney general, the director shall prescribe rules and regulations not inconsistent with law to implement this act. The director is responsible to the attorney general for the operation of the division. (b) With the approval of the attorney general the director may appoint one (1) or more deputy directors who shall perform duties as assigned by the director. (c) Repealed By Laws 2001, Ch. 45, 2.
