Every CourtGPT legal capability is listed with its current live / demo / unconfigured pill, the date the underlying data path was last exercised end-to-end, and the open issues we know about. We do not promote a capability to "live" for marketing reasons.

    Known issues

    • Congress.gov API key (`CONGRESS_GOV_KEY`) is not configured in this deployment — the congress surface ships in unconfigured state with honest empty messaging rather than a live bill index.
    • No client-side bill cache. Every query hits the server action; offline usage is not supported.

    Known issues

    • The first-party laws corpus requires `LAWS_API_URL`; unconfigured deployments return no statute rows and clearly identify the unavailable state.
    • `LAWS_API_KEY` is an optional server-only bearer when the upstream contract permits anonymous reads; it is never exposed to the browser.
    • Saved-query persistence is not implemented; the saved-query row on `/laws` is not yet persisted.
    • Cross-jurisdiction search results are not yet grouped by topic; results appear in a single flat list.

    Known issues

    • No live directory backend yet. The directory surface ships curated public-data mirrors (court, judge, practitioner, agency rosters) with explicit "limited data" messaging.
    • Court and judge detail panels render from the in-repo `directoryCourts.ts` / `directoryJudges.ts` snapshot; live PACER / state docket integration is not implemented.
    • Bar admission deep-link is a Wave-11A mirror, not a live bar-registry pull.

    Known issues

    • Visual law browser is unconfigured — the page renders the curated public-source catalogue (`legalSources.ts`, ~40 sources) but does not claim live case-law coverage.
    • CourtListener mirrors are public-source URLs only; no authenticated docket / opinion APIs are wired.
    • Starting tabs are static recommendations; per-user saved-tab state is not persisted across sessions.
